A route of "historical road" walking from JR Okutama station to Lake Okutama, Old “Ome road (Ome kaidou)”.
The valley could be seen from two suspension bridges is attractive. The appearance of a Village fit naturally and peaceful into nature.
At the foot of the pass and the bridge, “traveler’s guardian (Dousousin)” and “Hayagriva (Batou-kan-non)” that convey faith and belief of the Edo period still remained as it is.
It is a reminiscent of the old days.

I´ve never seen that beautiful color the lake live that before. The higher we climb the more amazing the scene became. And I was surprised to know that the former people look their homes with them and climbed to that high mountain. Every things was wonderful.
